The Scioto County Public Library will no longer circulate mobile Wi-Fi hotspots as of Monday, February 2, 2026, due to rising costs of the service, a reduction in state funding and unreturned devices.

FREE INTERNET AT THE LIBRARY
Internet-accessible computers are available for public use at all SCPL locations, and Wi-Fi is available throughout all the library buildings and parking lots.

DIGITAL RESOURCES
A portion of the remaining hotspot funds will be transferred to our hoopla and Libby accounts, allowing more access and purchase of materials through these digital resources.
