Summer Reading at the Scioto County Public Library
Looking for something fun for the whole family this summer? Look no further! The Scioto County Public Library’s (SCPL) summer calendar is packed full of free programs for all ages.
Summer Reading is for patrons of all ages! Sign up by picking up a reading log at any SCPL location to track the number of books you read. The reading goal for teens (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18 & older) is 7 books and the goal for children (ages 12 & under) is 20 books. All books need to be checked out from SCPL. Audiobooks and ebooks borrowed on hoopla or Libby count too! Once you reach your reading goal turn in your completed log to win a prize and to be entered to win our amazing grand prizes. Pick up a bonus log to keep reading all summer long for extra entries for the grand prizes.
Summer Reading is made possible through generous support from Southern Ohio Medical Center, TAH Benefits/Portsmouth Insurance Agency, DESCO Federal Credit Union, & Kings Island.
