Ideal operated in Portsmouth from 1932 to 1973. The 1973 Portsmouth City Directory lists F William Kinskey, Pres. at 1637 10th (Tenth) Street.
A black cast iron trivet in the shape of a plate made by the OSCO Ind. Inc. for the District 669 Conference. Some rust and wear marks. The conference was held on may 9-10, 1980.

In 1923, the Chero-Cola Bottling Works opened at 317 Second Street at the former location of Whistle Bottling. In 1929, the company became the Chero-Nehi Bottling with Samuel Burke at the helm.
The Good Conduct Medal was established on June 28, 1941 for members of the United States Army and Army Air Forces for exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity or who honorably completed three years of active service. This medal was given to Thomas Cosby Flanery who entered the service on January 8, 1918.
