The Harmon Street Showgrounds was used for fairs, circuses, and other amusement fun primarily in the 1950's.
Sepia toned postcard with "Little Kanawha Lumber Co., Portsmouth, Ohio." on front as receipt and "H.H. Giesy, Wholsale Lumber, Lancaster, Ohio" on back as sender. Correspondence is handwritten in black ink. Company was located in New Boston but with Portsmouth postal address. 1891-1897.
