Sepia tone postcard of the Ohio River with ice. The ferry steamboat Emily was operated by Captain John F. Davis between Portsmouth, OH and Fullerton, KY. The Ohio River had been frozen for about one week and the ice was breaking up and moving, when on January 5, 1910, the Emily sank. She was insured, raised in July of 1910, and repaired.

Silver, light weight metal coin/token for Wurster Brothers Soda fountain, "Good for 1 glass of soda water." on one side, "Wurster Bros." on other. The pharmacy with a soda fountain was located at 419 Chillicothe Street.

Clear glass medicine bottle that is stained inside. Label says Wurster's Drug Store, which was located at 419 Chillicothe Street. Wurster Drug Company was founded on April 1, 1897 by George and John Wurster, when they purchased the Enos Reed Pharmacy at Second (2nd) and Court Streets. In 1903 they moved to Chillicothe Street, then in 1962 opened the Kinney's Lane store. In 1973 the Chillicothe Street store closed and was sold to Ward Miller. In 1977 Russell Harsha purchased the company.
