Clear glass bottle embossed: "7 fl oz, Whistle Registered", "Portsmouth, O." and "Bottling Co." on bottom. Incorporated on August 8, 1919 in Portsmouth, manufactured at 235-137 Second (2nd) Street. Created by Charles Grigg of Missouri and his friend Silvester Jones in 1919.
Clear amber, but heavily stained on the inside, glass bottle. The label reads, "Adam Reeg Druggist", and Coach Varnish is handwritten on it. Reeg's store was located on the S.E. corner of Ninth (9th) and Chillicothe Streets. Adam Reeg was a pharmacist for many years until his death in 1926. The date of the bottle is estimated from 1890s to early 1900s.
Plastic nail file colored red white and blue with "Re-Elect John R. Hull Sheriff" in black print. John R. Hull was first elected as Scioto County Sheriff in the fall of 1983 and served for two terms.
Aged and used wooden pencil. White with red and blue font. The Pepsi-Cola Portsmouth Bottling Company was located at 3010 Scioto Trail, but in 1979 moved its plant to Franklin Furnace.
Black wooden pencil with "C & M Automotive" and "915 4th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio" stamped on it in silver print. In the 1989 Portsmouth City Directory, C & M Automotive was at the 915 Fourth (4th) Street location.
