Black and White Photo image of the old stone Post Office used from 1891 - 1936. Located at the corner of Gallia & Chillicothe Streets, it was expanded in 1914, closed in 1936, and razed in 1956 for the construction of a five story Montgomery-Ward Department Store.
Black and white photo image tri split for the three scenes; Spillway, Greenlawn cottage, and houseboats on the Ohio River. Levi York began developing Millbrook Park in 1899. It covered over 85 acres. Greatly damaged by the flood, it was totally dismantled by 1935.
Black & white photo image of the Norfolk & Western Depot at Tenth (10th) and Waller Streets. It was used from 1901 until the new terminal was constructed at Sixteenth (16th) and Findlay in 1931. This location was used for storage until it was razed in 1968.
Colorized photo image of the Majestic Theatre located at the corner of Sixth (6th) and Chillicothe Streets in the former Methodist Church building. It opened around 1916 and was only listed in the 1918 City Directory. It was demolished for the construction of Portsmouth's third Masonic Temple Building in 1928.

Colored image of Selby Shoe Factory. The Selby Shoe Company reached a peak employment of about 5500 in its factory at Seventh (7th) and Findlay Streets before closing in 1957. There was a tunnel under Findlay Street to the Post Office.

Handcolored photo of YMCA built in 1906 at 2829 Gallia Street (at the end of Norfolk Street) by the N & W Railroad for railroad employees sleeping quarters. It was closed in 1960 and razed in 1968.
