This location was razed and the Masonic Temple Building was erected in 1928.
Colorized photo image of snag boats on the Ohio River. A snag boat was a steamboat equipped to remove debris from the waters. On the back of the card: "Uncle Sam's Dredge Boats are constantly removing obstructions from the Ohio River."
Colored photo image of the Millbrook Park Base Ball Field with the New Boston steel mill and the Ohio River in the background. Levi York began developing the 85 acre park in 1899. Millbrook was greatly damaged by the flood, and was totally dismantled by 1935.
Black and white photo of the Soldiers' Monument in Soldiers Circle in Greenlawn Cemetery. In 1862 the Ladies Aid Society purchased the Civil War Union Soldier Monument dedicated on May 30, 1869. More than 2300 combat veterans, including 670 from the Civil War, are buried in Greenlawn.
