Silver wire frame with rimless octagon shaped lenses. Case is dark green metal with green velvet inside. The optometrist office of James G Bennett and Joseph M Babcock was located at 837 Gallia Street in the 1920 Portsmouth City Directory.
Blue glass bottle embossed: "The Ice Cream & Bottling Co. Portsmouth, Ohio." on front. "I.C.B." on bottom. The 1910 Portsmouth City Directory lists The Ice Cream and Bottling Co. at 260 E 10th Street. In 1914 the address listed was 1400 10th (Tenth) Street.
Clear embossed glass bottle. Embossed: "E.J. Kenrick Company Harold Clayton Portsmouth, O. Cap. 7 1/2 fluid oz." In 1941, at the death of Mr. Kenrick, his cousin G. Harold Clayton became the owner and manager of the Kenrick business on Market Street. G. On back side in white print: "Circle "A" Brand The sign of Highest Quality Beverages. 7 fluid ounces. Property of Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, Portsmouth, Ohio." The Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. was listed at 616 Third (3rd) Street in the 1947 Portsmouth City Directory.

The 1899 Portsmouth City Directory listing: Portsmouth Brewing & Ice Co., president & treasurer J. Esselborn, secretary Oscar Knorr, brewers lager beer and ice manufacturer. 258, 260, 262, & 264 West Second (2nd) Street. In 1914 Mr. Esselborn was still president & treasurer, George Zeisler was secretary at 224-230 Second (2nd), phone # 94.
