- Colorized image of the Union Street School. The building was located at the corner of Fourth (4th) and Union Streets. On December 26, 1877, the school was completed. It was remodeled in 1910. A fire destroyed the building in January of 1929. The U. S. Grant School, built the following year, replaced the Union Street School.
