Black and white drawing of Grant school building which was built on 1930 in the corner of Fourth (4th) & Union Streets. It replaced the old Union Street School destroyed by fire in 1929. Because Grant had the largest gymnasium in Scioto County it was used by PHS and for county and regional basketball tournaments for over 30 years. It was razed in 2004 for the construction of the new Portsmouth Elementary building.
