Black and white photo image of a parade during Circus Day in Portsmouth. Generally a parade would be given for the coming of the circus. It was usually set in June, following a Memorial Day Parade in May.

On back side in white print: "Circle "A" Brand The sign of Highest Quality Beverages. 7 fluid ounces. Property of Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, Portsmouth, Ohio." The Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. was listed at 616 Third (3rd) Street in the 1947 Portsmouth City Directory.

The hatchet end was used to slit label and tax stamp, pry the nail out of a cigar box lid, then pound the lid shut.
