Clear glass bottle with a white label and red print. 6 fluid oz. Print on back indicated it was a cola bottled by Spur Bottling in Portsmouth, Ohio. Listed in the 1947 Portsmouth City Directory: Spur Bottling Co. (John H. and Jack H. Matiz) 927 Ruhlman Avenue. / Spur Distributing Co. filling station 1027 Chillicothe 740 11th (Eleventh) Street and 2420 Gallia Street.

The first building to occupy the space was known as the Inn where travelers could stop for food. Other occupants of the property included Distel Furniture Company, General Kendall; Kendall boarding house; Smoke House:

Tinted image of Campbell Avenue School located between Sixth (6th) and Seventh (7th) Streets on Campbell Avenue. The original eight rooms were built in 1899 and four rooms were added in 1909. The 24 room Woodrow Wilson School was built on this site in 1927.
