Sepia-toned postcard of the church building and cars along the streets Roberson and Young, since 1924 the church was located at 2235 Roberson until it was destroyed by fire December 17th, 1961. The fire was arson over a surgery.
Colorized photo image of the Devil's Den near South Portsmouth in Greenup County, Kentucky. It is a small burrow in the forest overlooking the river toward Portsmouth. Interestingly enough, on Groundhog day in the 1960's, the groundhog, Portsmouth Pete, would venture out of the Devil's Den. It was his home.

It was renamed Smith-Everett Hospital by Dr. Charles Smith and Dr. Clyde Everett in 1946. It was expanded as Southern Hills Hospital from 1962 until it closed in 1987. In 1988 it opened at a residential home for seniors named Hempstead Manor.

Black & white image of athletic field as if seen from the air. Mr Simon Labold, president of the First National Bank, donated land for baseball, football, etc. in 1929. The stadium built there was known as Universal, Municipal, and Spartan Stadium.
