Her original name was Sarah Frances Frost but was changed to Julia Marlowe due to better stage appeal. She rose to fame in the late 1800's and early 1900's, even claiming the titles of the "First Lady of The American Stage" and "World's Greatest Shakespearean Actress."

Black and white photo image of Anderson Bros. Company located 301-309 Chillicothe Street. It was a Department Store beginning in 1899. In 1937 Sears Roebuck Department store moved into the building. Sears closed in about 1983 and the building was later remodeled into apartments.
