Clear glass Chero-Cola bottle, with embossed "Chero-Cola, 6/12 FL. OZ." across it. "Portsmouth, Ohio" is embossed on the bottom. In 1923, the Chero-Cola Bottling Works opened at 317 Second Street at the former location of Whistle Bottling. In 1929, the company became the Chero-Nehi Bottling with Samuel Burke at the helm.
