The Sixth (6th) Street M. E. Church was started in 1853, and this building was razed in 1927. The First National Bank was in the Turley Building at Chillicothe and Second (2nd) Streets from 1906 to 1911.
Harry Ball was a well known citizen. He was involved in many organizations and held many positions at the courthouse. Perhaps his most notable contribution was two three year terms as Judge of Scioto County in the late 1890's.
