Photo image of invitation to the Dedication of the Soldiers' Monument in Tracy Park. The statue was dedicated by the Union Soldiers Relief Circle on May 30, 1879. John R T Barnes is represented on the 40 foot monument; he was the first Scioto County Soldier to die in the Civil War.
