S.T.E.A.M Boat Rapids
Stop by the library for an afternoon of creative play, science, and engineering! Kids will get to design and construct different types of boats, then send them down our makeshift river to see which kind of vessel can stay afloat through the rapids.
Yarn Mache
Stop by the library this evening for a craft program where we will be making trinket bowls and other fun things out of yarn and glue. It will be sticky and messy, but that’s half the fun! Best for ages 6 & up!
Marble Races
Kids 12 and under will get to choose their marble, give it a racer persona, then send it rolling down a series of tracks and terrains while race fans cheer for their favorite marbles to be the first across the finish line.
Painting with Sharpies
Bring out your artistic self with designs using sharpies, rubbing alcohol and ceramic tiles! The event will be held on Tuesday, August 19 at 4 p.m. in the Copley Meeting room at the main library location. Ages tween to adult. Please call 740-354-5304 to register.
